Quick Start Tutorial

Getting started with apstrata is as easy as following our quick start tutorial. The step-by-step tutorial will guide new users through the basic operations of saving and querying documents (using jQuery), as well introduce you to document schemas and server scripts.

In addition, the tutorial provides an example of new user registration, which is a useful for building block for your own web applications.

Documentation Wiki

The apstrata wiki contains detailed documentation on the complete set of apstrata APIs.

DevConsole

The DevConsole is an online developer tool providing easy access to the most common apstrata API calls. Open the DevConsole

Dojo Javascript SDK

For developers familiar with the Dojo javascript toolkit, the apstrata javascript SDK provides a more powerful javascript client library which abstracts and simplifies making apstrata API calls from javascript. The javascript SDK client provides support for cross-domain GET and POST to the apstrata services via the Dojo.IO.

In addition, the SDK provides additional example code, such as the horizon console, which are built using Dojo tools and widgets and which enable the development of fully featured data driven web browser based applications entirely in javascript.

The bundled SDK demo code demonstrates the capabilities of the apstrata API and are completely free to use and modify. Note however that the SDK is under constant development and some demos may have broken features.
